was looking at my pregnant wife's belly with joy today and marveling at the process of creation.

Then I remembered something...

My good friend Mike Litman once spoke about "the power of thinking small" and how I wondered, "Could he be right?"

I mean there I was with a goal he size of Mount Everest and here comes Mike talking about thinking small...

So I took Mike's advice as it stood and I developed the REAL DEAL System and applied it.

A couple years roll by and one day I realize that everything I've achieved so far was not just because I had HUGE goals to aim at but because I had a series of smaller ones to get there. In other words my "steps to success."

You still need BIG goals but…

Thinking small is not just about making your first $1 before you make your first $100 OR making your first $1,000 before your first $10,000.

It IS about what I like to call reverse engineering the process and finding your steps to success in order to achieve your goal faster and efficiently!

Think about it...

If you have a goal right now of achieving an extra $5,000 a month from your business, have you thought about how you will earn the first $50...?

OR

Better yet, have you taken the time to reverse engineer the process of getting that money?

What will it take?

Let's say you want to make $5,000 a month from a website right...Well what steps will you take to get there OR what are the requirements?

Let's make a quick and dirty list so you get the idea...

In order to create $5,000 in income online, I must:

1. Acquire a domain name.
a. What name will people remember?
b. Get multiple names and choose the best one.
c. What names will the search engines like related to my product(s)?

2. Find a hosting service and forward my domain there.
a. Which one is reliable?
b. What service do larger companies use?

3. Have a website designed.
a. What style of site do I want?
b. Does this designer have references?
c. Has he/she done my type of site before?

4. Get an auto-responder.
a. Which one is best?
b. What features do I need?

5. Research Keywords.
6. Use Pay Per Click advertising.
7. Find Link partners.
8. Research advertising sources.
9. Create a marketing plan
10. Develop an affiliate program.
11. Find Joint Venture partners.

And the list goes on and on and you can break each number down even more...

WAIT....!

None of that even includes the product(s). A list like this can be done for the product(s) and each of the numbers can be broken down even more.

Now I know that this sounds a bit tedious but look at it this way. You WILL know your exact next move at any given time when you are developing this business.

If you were to reverse engineer our ultimate creation in our world...a child...what would you get?

A BABY! - Gestation - Conception - Marriage (not always) - Courtship - Parental Attraction - Adulthood...

This list goes on and on as well.

Many of these things may not even happen for some people, but with all of the variables what else can you fit into this list?

These thinking small steps are all building blocks to creating your ULTIMATE goal!

Would you build a house by putting four walls together at once?

NO, of course not. You would start with the foundation and work your way up. Or better yet, an architect would draw up plans for you first.

I've found that many of my clients didn't realize this at first! They never asked the question, "What steps do I need to take in order to achieve this goal?"

What's your favorite team sport?

And that brings me to a very sad, strange and TRUE reality.

You see many people often go through life without a team.

Either they think they don't need one or they are too
proud or ashamed to form one.

So they go through life, problem to problem, wearing
themselves out by doing EVERYTHING themselves.

How successful do you think these people are?

Not very successful at all right?!

They may achieve some level of success but ONLY when they
put together a team of people dedicated to their success,
can they achieve GREATNESS!

However, most people never get to that level of achievement.

The problem is that they don't understand how to find and
build a team of people dedicated to their success.

The "key" my friend is to find "success minded" people and in
many cases they find YOU. Sometimes it may be your family and
many times it will not.

Think about it, where would Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Ted Turner,
Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Ingvar Kamprad, Larry Ellison and
all of the other succesful entrepreneurs of our time would be, if
they didn't have their teams of people and employees to help
manifest their success.

Personal problems work the SAME way!

Have you ever had a great business idea?
Did you focus & plan out the business in your
mind and then write it down on paper?
Of course you did “Take Action”? Right?
Well most of us have great ideas or talents
that we can share with the rest of the world
but never do. WHY???

Think about how many Jobs you could have
created and how many people you could have
helped with your idea or business. Do you see
where I'm going with this?

So what happened? Why didn't you make it happen?
There are many reasons most of us don't Take
Action on our ideas but Fear is one of the biggest
reasons why.

Why are you afraid? Well fear is the result of an
incorrect thought. We are fearful of failure and
of the unknown. I know because I was guilty of that
too!

What I really “Failed” at was realizing that failure
is a gift that brings knowledge. If you fail, you
learn and grow but only if you accept it as the
gift that it is. If you're like me you've failed
and given up a time or two. BUT the simple TRUTH
is that when “Failure” happens you have to see the
lesson to be learned.

My Friend when this happens you will always
succeed! Failure is your friend remember that!!!

Besides, it's not even TRUE failure. TRUE failure
happens when you stop trying.

Fear of the Unknown is the bane of many people's
existence.

You know how it goes - ”What if...”

And YES, I was also afraid of the Unknown.
Remember we're programmed from a young age to
Fear and to fear the Unknown. The problem is
that Fear breeds negativity and that in turn
can ruin anything if we let it. But, that's a
subject for another day.

Those “What Ifs” usually never happen and if
they do then you need to take the time to examine
them for your lesson. Every bad thing has good in
it, so it's up to you my friend to decide which
side you'll look at.

The Unknown has immense opportunities and potential
for growth both spiritually and financially. The
past is known and the unknown lies in the future.
If your past has not gotten you to your dream or
goal, then the unknown is the place to be. Don't
you think so?

Then...

POP!

The so-called internet bubble exploded, or shall we say...imploded?

Speculation was gone, and the internet gold rush was over or so everyone thought!

After the, "See, I told you so-s" were over what was left?

The big boys and girls of the internet world who had enough money to stay alive

and a bunch of scattered little ones with intravenous lines from every direction recovering.

Secretly, while all of this was going on a humble car salesman from New York had become

exposed to the internet and learning how to make money on it “the old fashioned way.”

Mike Filsaime started as a car salesman back in 1990 and in three years he became

the sales manager. That success fact didn't surprise me though because I know that

Mike has a very high work ethic.

Success seemed inevitable.

However, in 1998 Mike Filsaime suffered a devastating financial blow. A crooked partner in a Real Estate Investment Firm he was a partner in embezzled and stole over $400,000 from Mike and his other partners. He suffered foreclosures of homes and repossession of vehicles just to name a few things.

Have you ever wondered what the secret to quick and easy financial success is?

Well, one of those secrets for more and more people around the world who are just like you and me is, starting your own internet home business!

The thing is though, that there are some hidden secrets that the so-called ‘experts’ are usually not willing to share with you and others like you.

You see, those ‘secrets’ or principles can and will make you successful but the trick is finding the right person to teach you.

The trick is finding a coach or mentor with a proven track record whose sole focus is your success!

The most important mentor I had in my own internet business was a younger college student that I met online a few years ago.

I mean, there I was young, strapping and in charge of the day to day operations of a multi-million dollar, international corporation and then one day this younger guy tells me that he makes more in a week online than I do in a month and most times more than I made in two months!

Worse yet he was a full-time student with a heavy Singaporean accent so English wasn’t even his native language.

At first I thought this guy is a joke, and he was pulling my chain just to mess with me. Then I thought he was into some shady type of illegal thing.

But I have to say I was quite jealous when he showed me his internet home business income! WOW, was I impressed!

Of course he proceeded to tell me EVERY step of how to make that kind of money and you know what happened…

I did absolutely nothing! Yes I confess, that I Rasheed Ali was guilty of procrastination. I should have been locked up and actually... I almost had my self put away after doing 3 years of research into making money online.

The reason for that was I discovered that this college student guy who happens to be the great Jo Han Mok himself, had not only become a legend online but he had freely given me EVERY piece of information that I had just spent about $25,000 and 3 years to learn all over again.

It drove me nuts! I couldn’t believe I did that.

Imagine what you could do if…you had someone to teach you the keys to rapidly building your own internet home business empire!

As you keep skimming through this article, you're beginning to think... “Hmmm? What are those keys?”

So to make it easy on you I’ll list a rough sample of some of them here:

Decide what you want to do! In other words what type of internet home business do you want to start? Do some keyword research and see what people are looking for.

Take out a good old fashioned pen and paper and write down the next 10 steps you must take in order to accomplish getting your website up. These are small steps not HUGE overly exaggerated ones. Check them off as you go. When you complete them, write down the next 10 and so on.

Once your website is up research a good auto-responder program, purchase it and install it if necessary, then put up a subscription box on all of your live web pages in order to create a database of names and email addresses. This is a key defining factor in running a successful internet home business. Building a list of potential customers.

Write an attention grabbing headline and a short message that tells your future visitors about the benefits of your product, service or newsletter…NOT the features! Writing good direct response copy is a valuable skill that must be learned over time OR you can pay an experienced copywriter to do it for you if you have the money. This one skill alone has made me financially free!

Give some valuable information on your topic to your new subscribers for free in order to build a trusting relationship with them. Relationship marketingis an extremely effective form of marketing and has the power to build you a vast fortune if applied correctly.

Create an e-book, CD or DVD on solving the most burning problems that people have in your industry. For example if your industry is the Golfing industry then maybe a product on improving your golf swing would be one that solves a burning problem.

Write a direct response styled sales letter and add a Paypal button at the end of it so you can collect payments. Again, this is a learned skill.

Start selling it to your subscribers, and then to the rest of the world!

Now I’ll be honest that list is a VERY rough one but as you can see, it is extremely simple. The fact is that there are many smaller things that must be accomplished within each of those listed and even more that I haven’t mentioned here.

It would take books and books of writing to accomplish that and this is just a short article.

The fact of the matter is this, my friend…

You can do what everyone else is doing and get the same kind of mediocre results they're getting, or you can learn the powerful internet home business strategies that the successful entrepreneurs are using to create financial success and build empires at incredible speeds!
