If there was ever a principle that was responsible for the most happiness and achievement in the world, it would be the 80/20 Principle.

The 80/20 Principle or Pareto Principle was discovered in 1897 by an Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto while he was searching for patterns of wealth and income in England.

What he found was that 80 percent of the wealth was enjoyed by only 20 percent of the population. Additionally, it was consistent in different countries and in different times.

This has been found in present day as well and in almost any activity that we perform, business or otherwise.

If you want to know the greatest secret of the wealthiest and most successful entrepreneurs, you only have to know two words.

You don't have to know these entrepreneurs personally and you don't even need to know what they do!

Nothing else matters if you don't know them.

What are those two words?

The words are: BE UP

They're a simple acronym actually, and being a guy from the streets I liked them.

So what do they stand for?

People

That's it! There's no big anything with the whole secret. The reason is simple and here it is.

If you were to look at any business that is successful (online or off), you'll see this one common characteristic of the owner(s).

By understanding people (customers) these entrepreneurs find out what their target customers likes, dislikes, needs, spending habits and most importantly what their WANTS are.

To further understand this concept and make your business more profitable, ask yourself, "WHY did I buy this?" every time you make a purchase on something you want. What you'll soon realize is that others use this principle on you very often. Study your own buying habits and see what you will and won't buy. Not only that but, you'll discover all of the "Whys" of your purchasing habits.

People like Damon Dash, Sean (P-Diddy) Combs, Donald Trump, Russel Simmons, Oprah Winfrey, Anthony Robbins all have this in common.

They think about what people feel, understand them and find out what they want. Then they give it to them!

There are so many entrepreneurs out there who are running businesses based on greed and never think twice about where their money is coming from. In the end, the companies and entrepreneurs that Understand People will prosper and drive their competitions to a miserable demise.

The bottom line is that if you're an entrepreneur and you want to raise YOUR bottom line, then you need to Understand People.
